Great price

There’s nothing but good things to say about this shop. This car needed a lot of work from oil leaks, engine mounts, airbag light, to coolant leaks, and they did this work in a day. Fast and great work. This if for sure my go to shop from now on. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience at this shop. I brought my car in, and from start to finish the service was outstanding. The team was professional, honest, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. They did an absolute 10/10 job, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Their pricing was also very fair, especially considering the level of service and attention to detail. It’s hard to find a shop you can truly trust, but these guys definitely earned my business. Great price

I bought my BMW secondhand and it came with a whole list of issues, so I brought it to Zayd and his team and I'm so glad I did. They fixed my bumper, took care of some engine repairs, and even helped me install customizations including a new steering wheel, front lip, bumper, and side skirts. The whole team was great to work with from start to finish. Honest, skilled, and they clearly take pride in their work. Anytime I need anything for my car, this is where I'm going. Highly recommend!

WHAT WE
REPAIR

A German car tells you what is wrong in more detail than most, if the tools can read it. Every repair here starts by reading the car properly, and ends with the fault gone rather than the light off.

Factory-Level Diagnostics

ISTA for BMW, XENTRY for Mercedes-Benz, ODIS for Audi and Volkswagen, PIWIS for Porsche. A generic scanner reads the engine module and little else; the factory software reads every control unit on the car, with the live data and the guided tests that come with it.

Engine Repair

Oil leaks from valve cover, oil filter housing and timing cover gaskets, timing chain guides, PCV valves, water pumps, high-pressure fuel pumps and injectors. The failures on each engine family are well documented, and so are the right parts to fix them.

Electrical and Module Faults

Battery and charging faults, wiring and connector damage, failed control modules and the coding and programming that follow a replacement. A new module on a modern German car is not working until it is coded to the vehicle.

Cooling System

Plastic radiators, expansion tanks, thermostats and electric water pumps age on a schedule. We pressure-test the system, find the leak rather than guess at it, and replace what has failed with OEM or OEM-equivalent parts.

Suspension and Steering

Control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, struts and air suspension components, then a four-wheel alignment to the factory specification once the parts are in. Worn bushings are the most common cause of the clunks and wander owners report.

Drivetrain and Differential

Driveshaft center bearings and flex discs, CV axles and boots, differential and transfer case fluid services and seals. Fluids the manufacturer once called lifetime still wear, and the units they protect are expensive to replace.

German Performance is a family-owned, independent German auto repair shop at 2144 Parkwood Rd NW in Snellville, Georgia, serving Gwinnett County since 2010. We work on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen, from the classics to the current models, and nothing else.

That is Sam and Zayd in the photo. They are the people you speak to when you call, and the people who work on your car. What they find is what you are told, in writing, with photos.

Both are ASE-certified, Mercedes-Benz factory-trained technicians — one an ASE Master Technician with the advanced engine diagnostics certification, who trains the shop's junior technicians — and they have worked only on German cars since 2010: more than 10,000 of them through this shop.

Every car here is diagnosed on the manufacturer's own software: ISTA for BMW, XENTRY for Mercedes-Benz, ODIS for Audi and Volkswagen, PIWIS for Porsche. It talks to every module in the car, so we replace the part that failed, not the parts around it.

Will servicing my car here void my dealership warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, dealers cannot void your factory warranty simply because you chose an independent shop for routine maintenance and repairs, provided the work is performed correctly using appropriate parts. German Performance documents all services thoroughly, so your records are always dealer-presentation ready. We wrote up what actually changes when you leave the dealer if you want the longer answer.
